No. MMAPP Band Management section only accepts solicited material. Solicited material is accepted from any country or any part of Australia.

How do I gain solicited status to send material for MMAPP Band Management?
MMAPP Band Management section is a tight knit area. I love to hear from bands and artists alike and never push anyone aside. I accept all forms of contact and will reply in kind and view/listen to your material. MMAPP remains a highly contactable Business. As a Manager, I need to see an angle, a market and a strong target that can be met or utilised. As a Band Manager I focus on marketable World scale quality, a band that has capacity, quality, persona, a plan, a target, a market, strong budgeting plans, dedication, originality and market perception. Most importantly, a tight knit act and an act that I can click with as much as they can click with me. Artist Management is completely different to an Agent. Hence the perception of an act is altered and looked at in a more in-depth avenue.

Does MMAPP Booking Agency section accept unsolicited material?
YES. MMAPP Booking Agency accepts solicited and unsolicited material. You are welcome to send your material in without prior contact. Please make certain that your material is labelled clearly with your contact details. Live recorded or studio demos are both acceptable. A Cover letter stating your interest. There are many different sections at MMAPP, so please make sure you let us know the pack is for the Agency section. If you have any DVD'S of your act it would be great, but not a big issue. Please also include a band biography, tell us about the band, where you are at, where you are going, your target audience, all that fun stuff, we want to know about you and your goals. Also include your gig list, venues you have played at and any upcoming venues and dates. Be original, a band is a business, work hard at your biography. It will help you in the long run. Remain original, tell us who you are, not what you think we want to hear. Remember, majority of band biographies are very similar. They all say, we are a cool band, rock fused with indie and melodic tunes. Remain original. Be yourselves. We will need, primary persons name for contact, Mobile or/and landline number as well primary email address/es so we can contact you. Please do not forget your contact details. There are many bands who forget this one major thing and of course, cannot be contacted.

What are some important things I need to know if I want to be signed up with MMAPP Booking Agency?
Beyond being a great band with an amazing act to offer your fans. Important items that MUST be met for the Booking Agency along with yourselves at an independent working level is - An ABN Number. Being signed with MMAPP Booking Agency section does not make you an employee nor MMAPP an employer. A Band Bank Account. A stable and regular account to which your money can be paid Public Liability Insurance. Very important. MMAPP does have its own Liability Insurance but cannot Piggy Back within this policy. There are some very cheap and great services around to purchase liability. What material will a band receive when they become officially signed up under MMAPP Booking Agency?
Bands will firstly receive an example copy of the contract. I expect no one to sign a contract without reading and discussing whether it is viable choice for your band. Although the contract for the Agency section is very simple, easy to understand, and not overly demanding or unrealistic on either party. You will also receive a copy of a musicians code of practice. Nothing scary or binding, this is an extra enhancement of professionalism for the clients. It states in simplest form that you are a professional musician. This code of practice covers six main elements, some being professionalism towards clients, working in a public place, working with electricity etc. You will also receive an OH&S handbook, which will guide you as professional musicians of industry standards as well as MMAPP'S standards and also your, clients and Publicans rights and responsibilities while you are performing in public, and helpful tips such as life saving aid if needed i.e. cuts, epileptic fits etc.

That is OK. There can be arrangements made prior to your first booked gig.

What do I need to know if I book a band through MMAPP?
Booking a band through MMAPP is simple and painless. MMAPP will work with you and guide with what style of band you will be needing for your venue or function. Most bands are quite busy and often booked out well ahead, so please give suitable booking time to lock a band in. Minimum of two months notice should secure your choice. Once a band is booked and confirmed a 10% deposit will need to be paid. This will confirm and lock in your choice. MMAPP will provide you and band with a matching booking/venue contract that will outline specifications which will explain your confirmations and also to ensure there are no mistakes, mismatched dates, wrong address or the like.

I am having a party or wedding and want to book a private function, what do I need to know before I ring or email MMAPP and what services can you offer me?
Quite simply, booking artists or services through MMAPP is simple and painless. All you need to know is your budget. If you have a set budget that you are working from all you need to do is contact MMAPP and we will discuss with you your needs and work within your budget frame. MMAPP services can offer are wide and varied. We offer cake making and decoration service for all forms of cakes, we have a dress designer for all forms of dresses from wedding to formal to debutante to high fashion, say if you are going to the ARIA'S. MMAPP also provides a chauffeured limousine and sedan service. Security hire, venue decoration, that means, a service that can dress a venue for you with fancy ribbons, table dressing etc. MMAPP also offers Children's entertainment, all children's entertainers will hold a current working with children certificate. We also offer DJ'S and MC'S. Another frustrating element is finding the right venue, we can also source venue hire for you as well. We know the good venues that will cater for your different needs.

MMAPP provides a jingle writing service for advertising, MMAPP can also provide market placement campaigns and advertising for you. Again, within your set budget.
